Winter Wellness Day
Restful. Rejuvenating. Contemplative.
Saturday 15th November 10am - 4pm
Yoga for All and Pilates with Sylvia bring you a wellness day which will allow you to take the opportunity to slow down, connect with nature and have time to reflect on your year so far. We will give you space and time to return to you.
Our retreat will be in the tranquil settings of The River Room - a yoga studio based in the beautiful oasis of Westbury Wildlife Park. With the soothing sounds of a stream just outside, this calm setting is a perfect location to have a break from the world and nurture your body and mind.
Through yoga, Pilates and journaling, this Winter Wellness Day will give you a chance to embrace your year feeling restored, refreshed and realigned with the rhythms of the season.


Barre Workshop
Fun. Energising. Strengthening.
Saturday 8th November 11am - 12pm
This fun Barre workshop session brings together ballet barre work, and Pilates mat work. Offering a strengthening and flowing ballet inspired workout session that stretches, and strengthens the muscles of the body while improving posture and balance.
Beginning standing with a ballet barre warmup we will be working with alignment and movement from a strong centre, flowing with the breath and the music, we will then pick up the pace and engage the midsection! We will then move into core focused mat Pilates which stretches and strengthens the muscles of the body, using the music and breath to find fluidity through the movements.
Pilates and the Pelvic Floor

Saturday 24th January 3.30pm - 5.30pm
This workshop will demystify the pelvic floor. We all have pelvic floor muscles. During this workshop we will be using discussion and movement to explore different aspects of understanding the pelvic floor, its function and how it works, and its connection to the breath and movement of the diaphragm, and the abdominal muscles.
We will also briefly look at common issues or dysfunctions associated with the pelvic floor, relating to different life phases. We will then move the body to explore different ways Pilates movements can engage and strengthen the pelvic floor, promoting healthy function, so it continues to be effective and reactive. This workshop is open to all, it is an opportunity to develop your understanding of the pelvic floor in relation to everyday movement and your own movement practice.
